The Language Enabled Airmen Program is a cop-out - it means that mastery of a language is too hard and we should just go through the motions. &lt;br /&gt;Besides, they believe culture is more important than language. Moreover, it postulates that the more fluent you are, the more cultural savvy you should be. They say take the low road: learn little and little will be expected of you.&lt;br /&gt;Let&amp;#39;s give this thing back to A2 and get it out of A1 before we have NOBODY who can speak anything.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/1673747533541391425/2451143768074621331/comments/default/5819531345474497988'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/1673747533541391425/2451143768074621331/comments/default/5819531345474497988'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.buildingpeace.net/2009/02/air-force-language-training-what-works.html?showComment=1255566307195#c5819531345474497988' title=''/><author><name>John8054</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/12145697045926400801</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.buildingpeace.net/2009/02/air-force-language-training-what-works.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1673747533541391425.post-2451143768074621331' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/1673747533541391425/posts/default/2451143768074621331' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-528594428'/></entry></feed>
